For these examples, we will use my character Dante.
An example of what a riddle would look like for him would be this:
As story has told, was guided through nine circles of Hell.
This soul bears proudly the signs of war.
A second form, shows duality from the first.
Such a haughty child now given control.
Who shall protect our little prince?

This particular riddle has 5 hints. Only three are required. The first line refers to Dante's name, which can be connected to the story of Dante's Inferno.
The second line is a hint to Dante's appearance as listed in his profile. He wears war paint, thus bears the signs of war.
The third line references Dante's human form. As a human, Dante has blonde hair, which is the opposite of his demon form with black hair.
The fourth line hints at his history. He is an arrogant child who now has control of his father's throne.
The final line again references his status, which is that of a prince.
Two types of summoning can occur. The riddles do not change between the two. An original summoning is when a human summons the demon from the demon realm. This type of summoning can only be blocked by another demon in that demon's court. In the above example, Dante's friend and advisor, Nicholae could block the summoning.
The second type, a stealing summons, is when a demon is stolen from one human by another. So, if Dante is in servitude to a human, someone else can steal him unless his current master blocks the summons.
To block a summoning, you go into the summoning post and type something along the lines of X blocks Y. This must be done within two days, otherwise the summons was successful.
